Remembering Leslie
This site was created in memory of our beloved dove, Leslie Rogers. Our loving daughter, sister, and granddaughter.
Born in Bryan, Texas
MAY 15, 1996
Leslie Nicole Rogers, 26, was born May 15, 1996, and passed Sunday, April 9, 2023. Born on a beautiful spring day in Bryan, Texas to Jason Rogers and Tena (formerly Rogers) Anderson, Leslie brought even more sunlight and cheerfulness to the world.
Beloved by everyone, Leslie burst into every room with positive energy, a warm smile, and boundless optimism. She always found a silver lining for any cloud, and her charm, sass, and love lit up our lives.
Leslie treasured her close-knit family and especially her boyfriend, Aaron Neason, who also passed alongside her on Easter Sunday. They had just moved to Waco a month prior, and she was excited to begin their new life there. Her employer, O’Reilly Auto Parts, generously allowed her to transfer there to continue her career with them. Leslie’s first passion was music of all kinds, and she played the flute beautifully, along with several other instruments. She loved the theater, watching movies, the show Supernatural, and all things from the Harry Potter world. She was a loving daughter, loyal sister, fun aunt, and a deeply caring family member and friend.
Leslie is survived by her mother and stepfather Tena and Damian Anderson of Longview; her father and stepmother Jason Rogers and Jennifer McSpadden of Arlington; her sister and brother-in-law Alyssa and John Miller, niece Avery Miller, and nephew Landon Miller, all of Kilgore; brother Alex Anderson of Longview; brother Josh Roberts of Falcon, Colorado; grandparents Kenneth and Molly Rosier of Edge; grandfather Harry Rogers of Diana; grandparents Alice and Carl Chapman of Puerto Vallarta; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
